Yesterday and Tomorrow

  • Broward Center for the Performing Arts 201 Southwest 5th ave Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33301 United States (map)

Yesterday and Tomorrow, written and directed by Darius V. Daughtry, invites audiences into a powerful journey as a family and their community confront tragedy and search for meaning in life’s hardest moments. Blending vibrant music and dynamic movement, this poignant yet uplifting new play celebrates resilience, the pursuit of dreams, and the truths that matter most. Each of the evening performances will be followed by Art Prevails Project's signature artist talk and a special reception with complimentary drinks and light bites.

AMPLIFY ARTS is a new Broward Center initiative which aims to support and elevate local artists and emerging arts organizations with the goal of helping them reach a wider audience and develop their skills as professional presenters. There will be opportunities for South Florida artists in a wide variety of performing arts genres to bring their talents to Broward Center venues throughout the year. In the 2025/2026 season, the Broward Center’s AMPLIFY ARTS initiative is made possible by Wayne and Lucretia Weiner, Baptist Health and TD Charitable Foundation.
